Babycakes is the best vegan bakery EVER. I used to walk to the one in NYC all the time. I recently watched this for the second time in my life, and simply put it is a masterpiece. I guess watching it when you're 24 is even better than watching it when you're a teenager.

It has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which, is like, unheard of.
It's on netflix now, so go watch it asap!

Finally there's hope. Natalie Wood's case has been re-opened by Authorities after 30 years. When I was little I saw her in "Splendor in the Grass" and became infatuated with her. I read numerous biographies, watched every movie she was ever in, and researched her tragic unsolved death. I'm filled with hope that they will find out more details about what actually happened on that night off the coast of Catalina. Hopefully by re-opening the case it will give her family and fans some closure, and let her finally rest in peace as she has always deserved.

The following book is an interesting read if you want to know more about her life and death. I've had my own opinion about what happened for years. I will post more updates as they come out...

Driving back from San Francisco today I realized how much I love being on the road. There's such a magic to it; knowing that you can drive anywhere you want to. Seeing horses running through yellow hills, watching the sun set behind the valley. It reminds me that life really is ours...that beauty is all around us. A friend in New York complimented me on my blog tonight. Sometimes things come into our lives when you need them the most. I always try to surround myself with people who inspire me; I'm extremely lucky to have so many of those people in my life. Thank you KH, your words mean more to me than I can say.
